Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program (MAWQCP)

services and programs_58_2543127854The Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program (MAWQCP) is a voluntary opportunity for farmers and agricultural landowners to take the lead in implementing conservation practices that protect our water.  Those who implement and maintain approved farm management practices will be certified and in turn obtain regulatory certainty for a period of ten years.
Through this program certified farms receive; regular certainty, recognition, and priority for technical and financial assistance. Rich and Carol Radtke were the first certified farm in Kandiyohi County.

Curious about who is certified in the state? Check out the Story Board to see who is certified in your area!
